My entry yesterday was a picture of my daughter taken just before the classes started last June. Her whole summer was spent being at home, daily playing around the house and yeah occassionally she is on top of this tree to grab some mallberry. Look at how she beams. It’s like she’s happy to be at the top and also happy that her picture is taken while being there. I call her the most beautiful monkey i ever had in my life. Though i would tell my chinese student that if Filipinos are monkeys then i would be the most beautiful monkey they ever seen! LOL! I am sure they were kidding about that monkey thing but i am not offended in any way.

One thing i love in this picture is that i realized that my daughter is really experiencing the joy of childhood — always playing. I really envy her and i dunno if you believe me or not, but during my time her age, i can’t climb a tree. And if luckily I can get ontop of a tree, i dunno how to come down anymore.

I just feel happy when kids go about playing kiddie games. Their shrieks of joy and laughter often made me breath contentment. Am talking about playing outside the house ha not inside the house or else i can be a “KJ” (kill Joy) mom or aunt. :)
