the msh college campus church officers went out on a retreat at Naawan Beach Resort, Naawan, Misamis Oriental. Since am part of the Adventist Youth Council i was there. but i did not go with the group because i still helped my boss to prepare the food for lunch, so we arrived there a lil bit past 10 am. i told my boss that in the 2 years ive been attending the church, it’s the first time the officers went out on a retreat. after some reminders and announcements on church participation decorum, the group was divided into group (by department) to discuss and laid out the plans for the whole school year. our group planned for activities that will happen first time in the AY program (if they are going to be materialized). Well, enjoy some of the photos.

—the meeting place or function hall—

–our group laying out the plans for the remaining months of AY 2008-2009. the guy in white shirt w/ sky blue sleeves is our leader. the pose seems funny coz if anyone tries to shoot, everyone stops talking to pose. all just love to pose. LOL!–

–while the leader and some members discussing and suggesting activities, i was busy taking shots of my sorroundings and even took some of myself – and here’s one.
–

–everyone’s gathered around the serving table for prayer for meals. we feasted on chicken linagpang (grilled chicken cooked in tomatos, ginger, onions, and vinegar broth), fish tinola, adobong langkka, pancit, kinilaw na tangigue, chop suey (4 seasons), ginamos, and there’s also boiled banana and sweet potato. –

– after the meeting at past 4 pm, some went to swim and others took a lot of pictures and this is one of them — the shooter or photographer and the shooting objects.
i want my picture taken on top of the tree trunk but i was scared it would be uprooted from the sand. LOL! –

That sounds like a good gathering and it’s fun how people stop to pose.

hi ma’am. i was just wondering if how much one team could spend for an overnight stay at the resort. we are also planning to go there and have our general planning of activities for the next sem.
we are just students leaders and so basically we dont have the resources yet. and so we are looking for a place where is cheap but at the same time “chada”.
i hope you could share the prices of the accommodation here.
and if possible. do you have any contact to this resort ma’am?
i was trying to look over the net but i cant find their site.
i hope ul reply soon.. thank you very much.
