If I can Move back time…

22 07 2008

– i’d like to go back to the age when every summer we go to my grandma’s place for more than a months vacation.  i can feel the care of our granny and she is so happy to always have us around.  she stays up in the mountain where everything is quiet but if we are around, there’s laughter of children at play – always.  there are even cries when the 3 of us fights over something.

–when relatives from far and near drop by our home to visit and stay over the week-end.  my mom share childhood and even early marriage stories with them.  and i enjoy listening to them talking in their dilect.  i was expose to that. that is why even though i don’t speak their language, i can understand them.

– when we at least once or twice a year, we go up to Talakag, Bukidnon to join the harvest of corn.  I think that i was so good at it but when it’s hard to pluck off the leaves i throw it over to another area. and I really don’t care.  But we enjoyed harvesting the real good ones even the not so good ones.  We do “laraw” after the pople harvest the good ones and even with the not so good ones it will add to the kilos of corn we have.  having ten pesos those times makes us feel we are millionaires. hehehee. Yeah – the biscuit that time still cost 5 pcs for 5 cents. Each of us has money so we never share our biscuits with each other. Ohhh those were happy days.  We walk up to the farm at 3am bringing a lampara with us.  Then at night, the house of my aunt is filled with singing.  The songs are endless because we just love to sing.  Then we share memory verses and end the worship with a prayer.  I can still remember my aunt’s homeso full of us (cousins) that time.  I am just so thankful that kids like us who was born and grew up in the city, had this experience that never happens in the city life.

That is why when Dimple has the time, i let her go to that place and she enjoys her time there.  She enjoys riding the cow cart, chasing the goats and also the cows.  She enjoys swimming in the river and yeah also feeding the chickens and all the animals my aunt and uncle are raising.  Even though her time now is different from ours, but am glad she had this kind of experience too that she can also share to her future family.

–i will not kill those baby chicks. hahahaha! I can’t forget i killed some of them.  It was not bloody killing but i hit them with a stick broom because they were so cute and i can’t touch them because their was a crazy crackling mama hen. but now, i realized, i should not have done that because when they grow up – my granny can make a great meal out of them.  and hey, my granny never knew i killed those chicks.  she was wondering why the hen’s chicks became small in number.  she thought a big snake got them, she didnt know i pet them hard that they are killed and i let it roll down the hill.   (aihehehe this is a public confession huh!)

::elegant maternity wear::

22 07 2008

When i come across ads about maternity wear or maternity clothes, it right away brought me back down memory lane, the firt time i got pregnant.  Since it was my first pregnancy, my tummy or even me myself has not accumulated any preggy fats yet.  So for several months, when i go out, i am always in my normal casual cloth. When six months came, i was already excited to go out wearing some of my maternity clothes.  I think it was cool and comfortable especially as the stomach gets bigger each day.  And to wear these types of clothes, makes you feel more like a woman. hahaha. I really dunno how others think about it, but there’s just sexyness in a way a woman wears maternity dresses when she is pregnant.

Many celebrities find a hard time finding the right dresses or elegant dresses for them when they have a growing fetus inside their tummy.  Others even dreaded these times because they think they don’t look sexy anymore.  But for some, cravematernity.co.uk is a cool site for them.  Check out their site and they have a big collection of simple, stylish and yet elegant maternity dresses for women who are pregnant from the first month even to the full nine months.

And i think not only pregnant women who can take advantage of these maternity clothes, but also women who have big sizes.  A size 17 friend of mine said, she puts on maternity wear for a nine month pregnant size  cloth,  when she goes out as she feels comfortable in them.  And she is right, the important thing is being comfortable with what you are wearing. :)   And hey when i get pregnant again, i will surely shop at CRAVE. :) Not because celebs shop in there, but because they have a lot of fresh collection of maternity dresses, tops, skirts, maternity jeans, tunics and so on — which i think they cater to enhance the beauty of an expectant woman. :)

Ideal Rehab Care

22 07 2008

One of the best addiction treatment center is AMBROSIA.  It is one of the best in all over America.  It is situated in a modern town of Port St. Lucia in Florida.   They offer affordable but world class quality of service too its customers.  It is well seen that they treat and accommodate their patients in a state of the art residences (garden style environment) and they make it a goal that each patient is prevented from experiencing the relapse stage.

In my opinion, one of the hardest part to treat is when the patient who came in for addiction treatment is in the relapse stage after discharge from the center.  So Ambrosia see to it that each patient will be getting the total wellness by being healed not just his or her social being but also healed mentally, spiritually, and physically. Healing the total 4 aspects of a man is what family want for their love ones to experience.

There are many reasons why one is wading into the mire of addiction but if one is convinced that if can be treated and healed in a drug rehab that is very much concern of his/her being, plus the strong will to really be cured, then Ambrosia Treatment Center is the place for you.

Drug Abuse or drug dependency or in other words substance abuse or dependency is a behavior that should not be overlooked.  Family and friends should continue to shower genuine love and concern to the individual by recommending him or her to one of the best drug rehab centers in America – the Ambrosia Treatment Center.  To make your inquiries now and even for a free consultation, call them at toll free 1-866-616-0069.

Tuesday Morning Blah…

22 07 2008

I woke up to an eventful morning.  It feels like am in a new place because i haven’t heard the noisy hen and roosters early this morning.  I even missed the annoying bleat of our “my” goat because she was exiled up in the mountains last Sunday. Poor goaty but that was better because our pets does not only disturb me but the whole neighborhood.

Well, i sleep a lil bit late last night so when i woke up this morning i was still groggy and my face is sort of fluffy than usual when i had enough sleep.  I felt like peeing early morning but was too lazy to get up wanting to have more sleep, even though the warning of “go go and release it to care for your kidney” was rining in my brain, yet my body was too weak (laziness) to get up.

so this morning, i missed the devotional. :D   this afternoon i preside for the 3rd graduation exercises of the Health Care SERvices and i am still going to prepare my intro.

I wish everyone a nice Tuesday.

By the way, i wanna share with you pics of the food we feasted on during mom’s bday the other day.  Click here: PAGKAING PINOY. :D
