We are barely 5 month away from Christmas and i guess everyone is excited about it. I too love Christmas. Although that i don’t enjoy christmas holidays like i do when i was still younger and in primary school, but Christmas still give me that inner peace and joy in sharing love and happiness during Christmas Day. Now my question is — do you believe in Santa? Well, i know that each of us will have different answers. I for one, I can say that Santa is real because he filled up my stockings when i was still 10 years old.
It was on the eve before Christmas, that all the kids in our house were instructed to hang our stockings (we don’t have christmas stockings) so we used our school socks. LOL!. We hang it on our windows, not on the Christmas day and believe me the next day it was full of chocolates. Everyone kid in the house and even our duplex neighbors were so excited telling each other stories that Santa is real because our stockings were full of chocolates. I was too excited even to question what time did Santa came, if anyone saw Santa fill in our stockings. I was too excited to ask that question. Although i was sure that i was hoping that i would receive a note or a letter from Santa so i have to really pull out all the contents inside my stockings. But none. Well, that was long long time ago.
My darling girl is now 11 years old and i remember that every Christmas she would ask me and her grandmother if Santa is real, and if real where do Santa stays and how come if Santa brings gift, why did Santa forget her on Christmas. Poor baby!
