Teacher Julie included the following excerpt in her email to send us her Weekly question # 7:
“The butterfly counts not months but moments, and has time enough.” -Rabindranath Tagore
In this busy world we live in, we do two or three things simultaneously. We cut back on our sleep. We clean the house while the food is simmering in the stove. We rush here and there. There never seem enough time to do all the things that have to be done. We never seem to have enough time.
So her question is:
If we set aside an extra hour each day to do what we would rather do and not what we should be doing, what would you choose to do?
My answer:
I would like to spend that time reading the Bible and meditation. I wouild be a hypocrite if i will say that i dutifully do this every first thing in the morning – the meditation and Bible reading. I don’t because first thing in the morning I am already thinking of what am gonna do in the office and even the household chores, that when i pray, i pray in a sort of hurried way.
I really wanna cultivate that habit of getting up so relax and refreshed in the morning and instead of rushing out of the bedroom, i still find time to sit in bed or in a chair and read a chapter in the Bible and contemplate or meditate on God’s goodness. I think with this, I could face a busy day in a relaxed and lighthearted manner.

That is a good answer Arlene
Even I would love to do that since I wake up rather early everyday. I have quiet time when my daughter leaves school around 530am.
Thanks for doing this and I hope you would be able to spend extra time doing this.
Have a great week
Thank you, sis. Wish i have quiet mornings. Buti woke up together with our chickens and even the chickens get up ahead of me and they are so noisy.
till next WQ post!
