Special Care

7 07 2008

Special care is a must to be given to persons who have problems with drug addiction, alcoholism, smoking, depression and even different kind of disorders. If special care not given to these individuals, there is a possibility that they can never be cured and they will end up very miserable and sick.

Cliffside Malibu can offer this kind of special services to those people who are suffering from different kind of disorders. It is a residential drug rehab center that caters to those who decide to undergo drug rehab treatment  and alcohol rehab and even depression. It is situated in a place where it is condusive for healthy meditation. Their rehabilitation program caters to the individuals needs that at the end of the course, one goes home with a more cleared mind, renewed spririt and has a better positive approach to life.  I think it is the best place as a drug treatment center.  The centers goals and objects of the center is really laid out that you will be assured that your patient will come out whole and well.

Putting a loved one in rehab care is a challenge for the concerned families. It should be that even the care is left to professionals, the family support is still very important. The continuous care, love, and encouragement is much needed to enable the patient to have a quicker recovery. It can’t be denied that some reasons for addictions are inadequate love and attention from family – so they tend to find comfort and sense belongingness to their addictions. It would have been better if it’s a good for life addiction, but if it’s bad then surely it will lead to a wrecked life.

So remember the name of Cliffside Malibu if you need the best drug treatment program for your loved ones and friends.  You will never regret the choice.   You can start reading through their site now and read all the testimonies given by patients and or also you can start calling them for more detailed admission infos.

    Weekly Question # 7

    7 07 2008

Teacher Julie included the following excerpt in her email to send us her Weekly question # 7:

“The butterfly counts not months but moments, and has time enough.” -Rabindranath Tagore

In this busy world we live in, we do two or three things simultaneously. We cut back on our sleep. We clean the house while the food is simmering in the stove. We rush here and there. There never seem enough time to do all the things that have to be done. We never seem to have enough time.

    So her question is:

If we set aside an extra hour each day to do what we would rather do and not what we should be doing, what would you choose to do?

    My answer:

I would like to spend that time reading the Bible and meditation. I wouild be a hypocrite if i will say that i dutifully do this every first thing in the morning – the meditation and Bible reading. I don’t because first thing in the morning I am already thinking of what am gonna do in the office and even the household chores, that when i pray, i pray in a sort of hurried way.

I really wanna cultivate that habit of getting up so relax and refreshed in the morning and instead of rushing out of the bedroom, i still find time to sit in bed or in a chair and read a chapter in the Bible and contemplate or meditate on God’s goodness. I think with this, I could face a busy day in a relaxed and lighthearted manner.
