I missed the # 3 last week because I was not here but also the email did not get to my mailbox. Anyhow, as Julie said, it’s ok I will post 2 entries today – the # 3 and # 4.
Weekly Question # 3
What were your favorite books as a child, specifically in your elementary school years?
As far I can remember, my mom can’t buy us books anytime that is just for leisure reading at home. But there were several times that aunts and uncles would gave us hardbound readings books that I enjoyed reading whenever I get free. Later years, we were able to purchase the Bible stories and I can remember almost every afternoon, when all the chores done, I find mysefl reading the book until I finished the ten volumes. And the first book that I personally owned was OLIVER. It was a short story book of an elephant, named Oliver.
Weekly Question #4
What valuable lessons have you learned from your father?
I really can’t remember anything as valuable lessons from a father though I grew up in a family with a father figure. Because sad to say, when I was still young, I was able to develop aloofment from my father because of the way she treats my mom and generally us – his family. Inspite of the negative traits, I tried to convert it to positive ways in which I think must be the ways he should have done for his family.
> a father should not develop favoritism in the family.
> a father should treat his wife with respect and love. If love is gone at least respect.
> a father should not hit the mother of his children no matter how unmeet his needs are.
> a good father work hand in hand with the wife especially when the wife is busy with houseworks, at least all he could do is assist the kids with homework.
> a father should not hit his child if he or she does not understand his instructions
> a father should not act like he wanted to develop “fear” in the relationship with his children. a father should taught kids respect.

thanks for doing both tags, Arlene.
Re the books, at least you got some good books to read like the Bible. Those are one of my favorite reads too when I was young.
Re your father, I feel you. But we all know that is past is past and we can’t bring back what has happened. Instead, we have to use these life learning experiences to make our lives and those who we love, have better lives.
Have a great week
