The Smell That Makes my Head go Round

I love nice smells!  And wether we like it or not, nice or bad smells brings us down memory lane.

Just awhile back, when i walked from the other office to where I am now, I bumped into someone who I think is a dormitorian.  And guess what? He got that dormitory smell for the boys.  And what do I recall?  The smell of the boy’s dorm when I was still in college.  It is the kind of smell that makes my head go round – not the one that makes me high but the one that makes me dizzy.  I did not stay in the boy’s dorm ever but there were 2 semesters wherein I should go inside the worship to have my classes and if the front door is closed, we have to pass by the back door in which their shower and comfort rooms were located.  I can remember that my classmates and I used to cover our nose and ran scared to smell the not nice smell but not scared to see what is there not for us to see. hahahaha!

Anyway, I conclude that I all dormitories (men) have the same environment smell.  They are boys or men afterall!  I think that distinct smell will be minimize if one has to take bath everyday, changed bed sheets and pillow cases at least once a week, damp shoes should not be tolerated inside the square room and clean the room often if not twice a day. diva?  I can jst remember some of my friends told me, “cleaning is not just our forte! that’s for girls.” hello! so does it mean their not so nice smelly room is excusable coz they are men? huh.

Tell Me Thursday – May 15, 2008

It is already May 15! How time flies! Oh no just can’t believe it. Anyway, my WW entry was of Lake Lanao, in Cabilao Island, Bohol. It was a very nice place for relaxing even though it has only 1 cottage. It was scary for anyone who does not know how to swim because the waters is not so clear and you can think that maybe there are crocodiles in there. hehehehe

Lanao according to one of my companions means “lake”. So the name Lake Lanao is already a redunduncy of the word lake. Right? But anyway, that picture in WW is one of my favorites. The picture represents serene and quiet environment and a great place to relax.

It’s Thursday already so let greet each one an early nice week-end ahead! I hope the week was sunny for everyone of us. Though the clouds are overcast in me, the sun still managed to warm me these past days.
