Minimizing Burns

I come across this in one of my readings and it is share for moms out there or anyone who who is a homemaker.

DON’T GET BURNED AROUND THE HOUSE.

To reduce your risk of common houself burns:

- Never leave items cooking on the stove unattended.

- Turn pot handles toward the rear of the stove. (i often do the opposite for easy & quick handling tsk tsk)

- Use study overn mitts that cover hands and wrists.

- Keep hot liquids ouf of the reach of children and pets.

- Never cook while wearing loose-fitting garments that could catch fire over the stove. (in short bawal ang mag daster)

- Keep space heaters away from combustible materials.

- If you smoke, avoid smoking in the house and espeically never smoke in bed.

- Keep caustic chemicals out of the reach of children.

Logo Design

I still don’t have my new ID. I applied for it because my current employee’s ID has cracked and I also thought of using my real name on it. It’s not that I am using a fake name but I am thinking of adding more to it so that it will agree with my other legal id’s. I really hate this married life when actually am not thinking am married anymore. Hehehehehe (excuse me for my thoughts). The guy who is incharge told me, he still can’t make me a new ID because their’s no design yet and he told me to find
Logo Design online.

Luckily i found Impactxs and I like their business motto: “you Envision it, and we Create it”. So I told the inccharge to check out this site. Not only they do logo designs but they also do Packaging Design and Business Card Design. I find this find good because for a not-techno savy like me, I really dunno anything about designing.

Tell Me Thursday – 5/8/2008

If you scroll down, you can see the pictures i shared as for my Wordless Wednesday entry.. I have posted that early yesterday but able to submit it to WW in the evening already. I shared several because it happened last week-end and I felt it would be sad if not shared.

Now here are the details of those pictures:

# 1 – That is at the entrance of Ardent Spring or what they call as Mt. Hibok Hibok Hot Springs. Mt. Hibok Hibok is a volcano in the Island of Camiguin.

# 2 – Here are some of us enjoying a dip in the “not so” hot pool. Hehehehe. We really expect that it is very warm bt it’s not. Right we were sitting is a hole that guys out hot water. With me on the picture are some of the General Education faculty of MSHCollege.

# 3 – That’s Mt. Hibok Hibok taken from the White Island. That’s is one of the attractions when you go Camiguin Island. Some even would climb the mountain but for our group, we decided not to. And even if they did am sure I won’t go with them. hehehhe

# 4- Part of the white island. I just love clicking my camera on anything. It’s not only the blue waters and clear blue skies and the distant mountain that will give pleasure to our eyes – but also the beautiful men and women that visits the island.

# 5 – Another shot of the volcano from another angle in the white island. Actually i have lots of them (pictures) so pls bear with me why i shared several shots of the same mountain.

# 6 – The entrance to Katibawasan Falls. For the fee – see the picture closer and you can find how much it is.

# 7 – That’s the falls! I think it rans down around 500 meters or more. It was high. I was not able to make a dip in the cold waters because I was feeling cold. The falls was very enclosed with nature that the sun’s warmth can’t penetrate in. When I was about to try, I was already on the 2 steps above the water, I heard a man saying “it’s very cold” then one of my companions said, hmmm there’s colder than this in our hometown in Iligan. I looked up the guy and he has small eyes then I mistake him for Korean because of his body built. But when he said he is Chinese, and then i said “ni hao” – the conversation went on til we get to leave the place. I missed a minute swimming because of that guy. It was lively to talk wiht him because he thinks Phiippines is so beautiful when I think China has also lots of many beautiful places. He can’t believe when i told him I don’t like China’s beaches or sea. hahahaha

# 8 – we passed by that part of the road which is under construction. We thinkthey might make it as a Camiguin Boulevard a great place to watch sunrise or sunset. I took this picture from our moving vehicle while we were travelling towards Catarman.

# 9 -Soda Swimming Pool. They call it Soda because the water tastes Soda. We didn’t swim there because the sun was so high and it was very hot and we were thinking we are off to swim at the Cold Spring. There was no trees around. So I just took this photo when we were allowed to peep in. I was not able to taste the water.

# 10 – Our last itenerary on Friday ( May 2). This is the Sto. Nino Cold Spring. It is really really cold and the pool is so deep. The shallow part is only 4-5 meters but yet the current is a bit strong that we didn’t enjoying frolicking on the water.

By the way, in all these places – their are souvernier shops and prices vary from place to place. Wethink the cheapest place was at ARdent Spring. More Camiguin sights will be posted next week.

I forgot already because that was very long time ago.

None. But there are several that “i like”

smell of roses, berries, lilac, violets, AXE, baby’s bath stuff.

Musical instruments” guitar, violin, and piano. Voice: Kenny Rogers that i’d wish he will sing me to sleep every night. Ijust love his voice – typical bedroom voice. LOL! Nature sounds is also one of my favorites – chipping of birds and crickets and the water in the forest.

7. Worst feeling in the world?
Hating and hurting each other.

8. What is the first thing you think of when you wake up?
I thought of him far. I wonder if he is thinking of me and I think too what lies ahead in my day today.

9. Favorite fast food place?
None really.

10. Future child’s name?
Alexa/Alexander/Joaquin/ – any of them according to the gender.

… i would buy a house for each of my family and then go tour around the world and stay some time in each interesting places.

12. Do you sleep with a stuffed animal?
No.

13. Storms – cool or scary?
Both. Not so cool nor too scary. Just neutral.

water too!

I would travel or go to places if they ask me to go with them. I would take up Masteral units.

16. Do you eat the stems on broccoli?
yes, of course!

17. If you could dye your hair any color, what would be your choice?
Brown.

18. Name all the different cities/towns you’ve lived in?
Iligan – my original hometown, Manticao Misamis Oriental – my highschool hometown, Valencia, Bukidnon – my college hometown, Bacolod City – my first home away from Mindanao, Apalit – Pampanga > my ex hub’s hometown, Gingoog City – another home away from home. >> all these in the philippines. The abroad, I was able to stay for 3 years in Hebei Provice of the People’s Republic of China. 2 years of that in Shijiazhuang City and 1 year in Zhangjiakou City.
19. Favorite sports to watch?
Basketball.

20. One nice thing about the person who sent this to you?
With her writings and thoughts – i know she is one of the nicest people on earth who wishes love and happiness to everyone because she has it in herself.

21. What’s under your bed?
None.

22. Would you like to be born as yourself again?
Yes but i hope to chose different path then.

Any place where its quiet and i can read a book comfortable and fall asleep if i want to.
