Long long time ago, at this time, Jesus was already dead on the cross. I was made to understand that without His death on that cross, no matter how hard and horrible was the experience, it was a glory for all of us because God triumph over sin
The timely text for today is John 3:16 – one of my favorites in all the verses of the Bible. It says:
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, and whoso ever believeth on Him, shall not perish but have everlasting life.
The words i marked is a promise to all of us who believes in Him. Because of that death, we triumph over sin and we are going to heaven to live eternally. What a beautiful promise!
The day also made me remember the song with the following lyrics:
We are the reason that He gave His life,
We are the reason that He suffered and died
To a world that was lost
He gave all He could give
To show us the reason to live.
May this season be reminder for all of us that God’s love for us can never be compared to anyone’s love because He gave His son to die for us. Therefore, it is our responsibility to thank Him for this death. Let us continue to do the mission of spreading His goodness and love so we can see Him soon and live with Him forever and ever.

You statement is not 100% correct:
Jesus was actually murdered.
He was murdered because he was preaching against man-made organised RELIGION.
I hope you realise that Jesus did not belong to any religion — he was not even a Christian!
(Christianity was ‘invented’ by Paul, decades later after Jesus was murdered. What we pretend to practise today is NOT what Jesus preached!)

we have a vcd of the passion of the christ i bought in manila. but i watched the movie in the telly last night. i didn’t finished it though as i was sleepy.
i haven’t forgotten the essense of easter but sure the movie reminder me something more.
A GOD??? I am sure you meant GOD, because there is only ONE God. We all believe in the same God, but we dont follow the same religion, IF we are following one.
That is the reason for my statement: “Jesus was not a Christian”. Its not a insult at all. Jesus WAS the Son of God, he did not follow the religion of that time. It is US — starting with Paul — who limits Him to a religion.
(And brother, if Jesus would come back into modern society today, He would be murdered again by Organised Religion.)

I have NOT seen the nail marks AND YOU have NOT seen the nail marks.
None of us saw those nail marks, so HOW CAN WE RECOGNIZE IT??
And WE did not see Him going up into the heaven, so how can we know that it is REALLY HIM when we see a form coming down from the heaven? (Because it could also be the Anti-Christ, remember?)
Or do you perhaps think you can rely on pictures in children books??

What you wrote in this blog is beautiful. It shows your love for Jesus and what he has done for us by taking the penalty for our sins into his own body. Hang tightly to your beliefs and don’t worry about how others want to misconstrue them.

Sorry, I don’t agree with you.
I respect your religion; but I have my own free opinion. I think it to be too cruel for a father (God) to sacrifice/kill his beloved one (son) for others imaginary sins.
The truth, in my opinion, is that Jesus was not God; he never proclaimed as such, there are no direct quotes from him in this regards. God talked with Jesus and revealed His word on him, He chose Jesus his Messenger/Prophet/Messiah, Jesus was not a son of God.
Jews did not believe that Jesus was a true Moshiach or Prophet of God and to prove that they tried to kill him by putting him on cross, Jesus became unconscious due to the injuries inflicted on him. He was delivered from cross alive and placed in a room like tomb where he was treated for the injuries.
This was done secretly lest the Jews again torture him. Afterwards, he went to spread the gospel to the remaining ten tribes of the House of Israel, he died a natural death later at some point in the history. This is all truth in my opinion.
