I can still vividly remember that I make new year resolutions for two years while I was in high school. But when I did not faithfully followed it or changed myself, I stopped on the 3rd year. One of the most important resolution that I really wanted to do that time was TO STOP READING NOVELS. According to my teachers, reading these novels can influence me to do bad at a young age.
But two weeks just after I make that resolution, I break it because there are novels of friends that are ready for borrowing. Hahaha! We girls in the dormitory read these novels secretly or else it will be confiscated by the Dean or teachers and we will be given demerits. That was high school life. In college, I guess there were too many of us to be checked and to be demeritted just for that.
This year instead of making resolutions I would just put into writing some simple and which I think would be attainable goals for the year 2008:
-
- That I thought of having a new look (cut my hair).
-
- Lost at least 10 pounds for the first 6 months.
-
- Go to sleep 10:30 pm the most even when am not sleepy. (this is part of the weight loss process and I know this is gonna be hard because most of the time I chat at night and do late blogging, too. And now I have to change. Wahhhhhhhhh)
-
- Pay up my 10k debt before January ends
-
- Finish up all the pre requisite subjects this year so that I can apply for internship in June 2009.
-
- Pay up Dimple’s school fees before March ends.
-
- Live one day at a time realistically to avoid stress
-
- Seriously comply my problogging opportunities so that they kept coming.
Wish me luck guys that I may faithfully work up to attain all these goals.
How about you – do you have yours, too?
Happy New Year!
